Pálime kadidlo
Pri pálení kadidla sa nechávajú časti rastlín (kvety, listy, podzemky) alebo živice, drevo a ihličie pomaly horieť buď na špeciálnom uhlí alebo na sitku nad kahancom v arómalampe. Dym rozptyľuje do priestoru aromatické látky, ktoré sú v kadidlových prímesiach obsiahnuté.
Pálenie kadidla slúži na očistu priestoru alebo aury, na povzbudenie zmyslov, ukľudnenie mysle a vzpruženie.
Pri liečení pomocou kadidla sa aromatické látky používajú na potlačenie bolesti, prevencii alebo liečeniu choroby a na dezinfekciu.
Pripravujeme sa
Ak chceme páliť kadidlo, budeme na to potrebovať:
- kadidelnú misku alebo nádobu
- väčšinou býva hlinená, ale sú aj misky z porcelánu, kameňa alebo kovu a niekedy sa na pálenie kadidla používajú aj väčšie mušle
- tradičné misly mávajú tri nožičky ako symbol jednoty tela, mysle a ducha
- obvykle máva priemer 9 – 10 cm, ale môže byť aj väčšia
- ako náhrada za nádobu sa používa aj arómalampa, pri ktorej sa dá odňať horná miska a nahradí sa kovovým sitkom (obrázok dole) alebo kadidelná “piecka” so sitkom alebo kovovou miskou; oboje nepoužíva uhlie, ale páli bylinky nad kahancom
- ohňovzornú podložku, na ktorú kadidelnú misku alebo piecku alebo arómalampu postavíme
- uhlie na pálenie kadidla (len ak používame kadidelnú misku)
- toto uhlie sa predáva ako špeciálne tabletky s jednou stranou preliačenou
- väčšinou ho treba zapáliť a sfúknuť, aby len tlelo (použitie je popísané vždy v návode daného produktu)
- dáva sa do misky na niekoľkocentimetrovú vrstvu piesku, aby miska pri rozohriatí nepraskla
- piesok (len ak používame kadidelnú misku); môže byť riečny alebo stavbársky a trochu hrubší; v Japonsku sa miesto piesku používa preosiaty popol
- pero na rozdúchavanie zapáleného uhlia; najčastejšie sa používajú veľké perá z bažanta alebo perličky
- mažiar na rozdrvenie prímesí
- prímesi sa drvia tesne pred pálením, pretože takto najlepšie uvoľňujú svoje aromatické látky
- mažiar môže byť z porcelánu, kovu alebo z kameňa
- pinzetu na držanie uhlia pri zapaľovaní a na obracanie žeravého uhlia
- lyžičku na dávkovanie prímesí; veľmi často sa používajú medené lyžičky s okrúhlou naberačkou
- bylinky, dreviny a živice na pálenie
- pri použití kadidlových tyčiniek kadidlové tyčinky a stojan, do ktorého sa dajú upevniť a ktorý zachytáva popol padajúci z tyčiniek nadol
- fantáziu, ak chcete vyrábať svoje vlastné kadidlové zmesi
, alebo recepty na kadidlové zmesi podľa ich účelu
A takto postupujeme
- prichystáme si všetky potreby k ruke
- ak pálime na uhlí:
- naplníme kadidelnú misku trochou piesku (2-3 cm)
- zapálime uhlie
- držíme ho nad plameňom tak dlho, až začne praskať a dymiť
- položíme ho do piesku priehlbeninou nahor
- než sa dobre prepáli, máme 5 – 7 minút času na rozdrvenie kadidlových prímesí
- keď má uhlie biely popolčekový povlak, položíme naň lyžičkou kadidlovú zmes v malých dávkach
- kým uhlie horí priebežne naň dozeráme
- po dohorení uhlie tlie ešte asi jednu hodinu – dovtedy ho neslobodno vyhodiť a ani sa neodporúča hasiť ho vodou!
- ak pálime na sitku (v arómalampe alebo na piecke):
- kadidlovú zmes nasypeme na sieťku
- ak obsahuje kadidlová zmes lepkavé, živicové alebo vlhké časti, odporúča sa páliť ich na alufólii (alobale), ktorý na sitko rozprestrieme, inak by živica zalepila jemné otvory v sitku a sitko by sa len ťažko čistilo
- pod sieťkou zapálime kahanec
- ak nám nadávkovaná zmes už zhorela, možno doložiť novú
- po dohorení necháme sitko vychladnúť, až potom z neho odstránime zhorené zvyšky zmesi
- ak sa sitko zapchalo, vykartáčujeme ho kovovým kartáčikom na sitko.
